What is made from
 
Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (SDS) is organic compound made from lauryl alcohol derived from coconut oil. SDS is a cleaning agent that helps reduce the surface tension between water and oils, allowing for better cleaning. It is often used to help remove grease, oils, and dirt from fabrics and it has antimicrobial properties. 
 
Decyl Glucoside is derived from coconut oil. It's a non-irritating surfactant that is biodegradable and non-toxic, making it gentle and safe for sensitive skin. Decyl glucoside is used as a foaming agent that helps lift dirt and oils without being too harsh on fabrics or skin. It’s common in eco-friendly and sensitive-skin formulations.
 
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is derived from coconut oil. It acts as a surfactant and foaming agent, helping to increase foam and improve the cleaning power of the detergent while also reducing static and providing conditioning to fabrics.
 
Glycerol (Glycerin) is typically derived from plant-based oils such as soy or palm. In detergents, glycerol is used as a humectant to retain moisture and as a solvent to help dissolve other ingredients. It also adds mildness to the detergent formula.
 
Fatty Alcohol Polyglcol Ether is derived from coconut oil. It acts as a non-ionic surfactant that helps emulsify oils and lift dirt without producing excessive foam. It provides effective cleaning with a gentle touch on fabrics.
 
Poly (Vinyl Alcohol) is made from vinyl acetate monomers. Non-toxic and safe for use in household products, is biodegradable and less harmful to the environment. It helps maintain the stability of the product.
 
Trisodium Citrate is derived from citrus fruits or produced via fermentation of sugars. It works as a water softener, neutralizing the minerals in hard water that can interfere with cleaning. This improves the effectiveness of the detergent and helps prevent residue buildup on clothes and washing machines.
